Titans at Bucs, Week 1 Total

The Bucs’ recent home record in the month of September is 15-33 O/U (69-percent UNDER).

These two QBs are going to bring good things to these teams but given the conditions (warm, humid, 50-percent chance of rain), the coaches, and the lack of playmakers on offense, I’m taking this one to stay under.

Also, I did some quick SDQL research on recent first round QBs making their first start (Newton, RG3, Stafford, Tannehill, Bortles, Bridgewater). Their teams averaged 17.5 points per game in thier first start.

Tennessee lost its Week 3 dress rehearsal 34-10 while the Bucs were getting blown out 31-7 at home to Cleveland. Going to need to see some offense out of these teams before I start considering the over.

New personal betting rule: Don’t bet totals in Week 1 with one (or two) first round draft picks starting at QB. Tampa Bay hasn’t won at home in sooo long. That was ugly.

My best one in week 1 was the Raiders. You roll the dice…

I agree. Personally never go heavy until around week 4 or so.
